Compensation
$55,000 to $95,000 total compensation depending on experience (base pay plus per file bonus)

WeVett Home Loans is looking to add a loan officer assistant (LOA) to our team. Have a knack for numbers and superior people skills? You’re the type of person we’re looking for. What You Will Be Doing
- Providing elite service to internal and external clients
- Following up with new leads to ensure they are engaged in the loan process
- Learning investor guidelines, lending policies, and the required documentation, policy and procedures of the business
- Applying knowledge and judgment to proactively anticipate needs for new leads
- Developing strong computer skills, including the extensive use of web-based applications
- Managing multiple priorities while building rapport with clients
- Coordinating application and finance quote updates with new clients
What We Need From You
Must Have Qualifications:
- No fear of making phone calls
- The desire to serve military members
- Associates Degree or higher
- Minimum 12 months experience in Mortgage or Client Service Industry
- Work experience with using complex logic and problem solving skills
- Above average ability to work with numbers and basic finance calculations
- Advanced computer experience – ability to multitask on dual monitors
- Willingness to learn and be coached
- Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Ability to take accountability for actions
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Military experience (or knowing someone close who served)
- Bachelor’s degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Handling escalated client service situations over the phone
